Preferences & shortcuts

Application Preferences describe this installation and its operator. They never enter a Busloom project, never travel through a device definition, and never appear in Git versions of a project file. Open the page from the application menu or the command palette.

Appearance and accessibility

SettingChoicesBehavior
ThemeFollow system · Dark · LightFollow system reacts to the operating-system appearance; an explicit choice remains fixed
Text and controls sizeCompact 100% · Default 110% · Large 120% · Extra large 130% · Very large 140% · Maximum 150%Scales type and controls together so dense tables remain aligned
MotionFollow system · Reduce motionReduced motion stops non-essential pulses and short transitions

Theme, scale, and motion apply to the application, not to exported evidence. A PDF or PNG report uses its own stable presentation so another operator does not receive your workstation theme or zoom choice.

Services and delivery

License & activation
Shows Community, trial, or Professional state; starts the trial; displays the online device code; exports an offline request; imports a signed device license.
Software updates
Controls the launch-time check and manual Check now action. Store builds use Microsoft Store delivery; direct builds use Busloom's signed manifest.
Command-line interface
Installs or removes the bundled headless launcher in a PATH location and reports whether the command is available.
MCP
Enables the loopback server, chooses its port, regenerates its bearer token, and controls whether device-changing tools require a visible prompt.

Click a shortcut to record a replacement. Plain printable keys are rejected unless combined with Command, Control, or Alt; function keys may stand alone. Backspace/Delete clears the selected binding, Escape cancels capture, the row reset restores one default, and Reset all restores the complete catalog. Conflicts must be resolved before a replacement is accepted.
