Community includes the core Modbus workbench: RTU, TCP and TLS connections, reads and writes, projects, register decoding, discovery, raw traffic, diagnostics, trends, alarms, recording, replay, exports, documentation, updates, and support.
It is intended for learning, home labs, personal projects, and other private non-commercial use.
Professional: $149 once per activated device
Professional permits commercial use and unlocks structured automation, Lua scripts, CLI, MCP tools, and local Git workflows for project files. A purchased seat is permanently assigned to one activated workstation.
The signed license is verified locally. The workstation does not need a recurring heartbeat, network connection, or customer-hosted license server after activation.

The seven-day trial lets you evaluate Professional-only workflows before purchasing. It can be started from License & activation in Application Preferences. Ending the trial returns the application to Community; it does not remove projects or captured data.
